Ty Smith is an award-winning Technology Advisor with two decades of experience in the IT and Telecommunications industry. After a successful Channel Sales Management career at Cox, Ty founded Optical Diversity Telecom, a Global Technology Advisory Firm that pairs Casino, Hotel, Airport, Retail, and Industrial facility leaders with IT, Telecom service providers to tackle complex telecom projects and IT infrastructure transformations.
Ty also mentors current and aspiring IT entrepreneurs and consultants, by teaching them how to establish referral & resell partnerships with global Fortune 500 technology companies. Ty's overall mission is to boost the awareness of the vast opportunities in the IT Channel Sales ecosystem in order to bring more diverse professionals into the industry.
