Sophia Zarate is the founder and CEO of Corporate Pero Latinos (CPL), a nonprofit dedicated to fostering social and professional connections within the Latinx community while encouraging its members to give back. With a background in accounting, finance, and human resources, she leveraged social media to create a space where Latinx professionals could connect on both a cultural and professional level.
What started as a small community has grown into a thriving network that empowers members through events, workshops, and initiatives that break down barriers in and beyond the workplace. Under Sophia’s leadership, CPL continues to champion community-building, professional development, advocacy, and inclusivity, ensuring that Latinos—regardless of background or status—have the resources and support they need to succeed
