Dudamel conducts in Central Park

Gustavo Dudamel, who becomes the Oscar L. Tang and H.M. Agnes Hsu-Tang Music & Artistic Director Designate in September, leads the Orchestra in cornerstones of the repertoire by Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky alongside vibrant music by Arturo Sandoval and Gonzalo Grau. The Orchestra’s annual free concerts across New York City feature trumpet virtuoso Arturo Sandoval and cuatro master Jorge Glem, a special appearance by guitarist and former NY Yankee Bernie Williams — and post-concert fireworks!
